Standing with Giants 2025 Comes to an End

After a second Spring–Summer season at the British Normandy Memorial, the Standing with Giants installation has now drawn to a close, with the final silhouettes removed from the Memorial meadows this week.

From April to September, thousands of visitors paid tribute to the fallen and experienced the poignancy of this unique installation in its powerful setting.
This year’s return of the Giants was only possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of BAE Systems, KPMG and Teledyne FLIR – our sincere thanks to them.

Discussions are underway with Standing with Giants, the charity which organises the giant silhouettes, about the costs of the hoped-for return of the silhouettes in 2026. If your company would be interested in supporting the Giants’ return, please contact julie.verne@normandymemorialtrust.org.
