Accessibility

The British Normandy Memorial does not have staff onsite to help with specific accessibility needs, although every effort has been made to ensure the site is accessible to all visitors. In case of limited mobility please ensure you bring any required mobility aids with you.

Disabled parking is available and is located near the fully accessible toilets. It is approximately an 8-minute walk from the car park to the Memorial along compacted gravel footpaths which are suitable for wheelchairs and walking aids. Some parts of the Memorial are only accessible via grassed pathways and these may become slippery in case of wet weather. Benches are located around the site to provide visitors with a place to rest.

If you have any specific accessibility questions or requirements please contact us before you visit. We don’t have staff onsite full time, but we’ll always do our utmost to accommodate you. Get in touch at [email protected].
