D-Day 80 - 'Teams Live' Assembly for Secondary Schools

The British Council British in partnership with the Normandy Memorial Trust will host a D-Day 80 assembly on 6 June at 9am BST/10am CEST for secondary school pupils in the UK and France.

With speakers from the Normandy Memorial Trust and GCHQ, this session will allow students to find out what happened on D-Day and what role codebreaking and secret information played.

An expert from France will share information on the role of the French Resistance and the impact on French civilians. Students will be able to send questions in advance and via the chat during the event. The event will include a video from a Normandy Veteran.
