John Roger Cowell

Remembering John Roger Cowell, aged 19, Sgt Air Gunner, son of Percy and Mona Winifred Cowell of Pendrethan, Lundin Links, Fife. He was killed on the 1st July 1944 on his 13th mission attacking Vierzon, when his aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter and fell onto the road leading from Vernou- en Sologne (Loire-et-Cher).
