D-Day Veteran Patrick Thomas was one of only a handful of survivors when his Landing Craft was sunk by a mine off the Normandy beaches. The Royal Navy telegraphist’s quest to pay tribute to his friends who died has been turned into a film: ‘No Roses on a Sailor’s Grave’.
