Frank Baugh's Narrow Escape

Landing Craft made repeated journeys to the beaches of Normandy to land men and equipment and to rescue the injured throughout D-Day and for several weeks afterwards. Frank Baugh was a signalman on one of these vessels and had a narrow escape, just seconds before hitting the sand on 6 June 1944.

Frank sadly passed away on 20 June 2022 aged 98.
