George Albert Valentine

Remembering Lance Sergeant George Albert Valentine (Service Number: 7896784). Esme was around four years old when George was killed so she has only vague memories about George. But she recently discovered a press cutting in the Buckinghamshire Advertiser about George as well as a photo of him.

George is buried at Hottot-Les-Bagues War Cemetery and is commemorated on the  British Normandy Memorial (Column 105).
