The Official Opening of the British Normandy Memorial took place on 6 June 2021.
Restrictions caused by the Covid pandemic meant that very few UK-based guests could travel to Normandy.
Guests gathered at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and watched a live satellite link from the site in France.
