Veteran Harry Billinge MBE Leg d’Hon fundraises on 96th birthday
Trust Ambassador and Veteran Harry Billinge celebrated his 96th birthday on the 15thSeptember by continuing to fundraise for the British Normandy Memorial at Par Market in St Austell.

When asked why he was still collecting for the memorial even on his birthday, he said “of course I must carry on collecting, it’s for all those blokes on the Memorial who never got to have another birthday!”.
He said he had a marvellous day.

On August 21st, our Veteran Patron George Batts MBE Leg d’Hon also celebrated his 96thbirthday.
He spent the day with family and friends at home after a brief illness.
