ITV's 'My Grandad's War': Ralph and Vicky McClure visit the Memorial

On 5 June, the eve of the 79th anniversary of D-Day, ITV broadcast ‘Vicky McClure: My Grandad’s War’ featuring Vicky and her grandfather, D-Day Veteran Ralph McClure.

97-year old Ralph and Vicky visited the Memorial last year and their moving experience featured as part of the programme. Together, they also recorded their reaction on video for us, and two clips of the pair, reflecting on what the Memorial means to them, are below.
