CWGC BEGINS WORK AT MEMORIAL

The Normandy Memorial Trust is delighted to confirm the Commonwealth War Graves Commission is now entrusted with the horticultural maintenance of the British Normandy Memorial.

A handover ceremony took place at the memorial on 6 October in the presence of Steven Dean and Sacha Marsac, Project Managers from the Normandy Memorial Trust and Xavier Puppinck, Director WEA-France of the CWGC and Baptiste Prévot, Deputy Director.

The CWGC France Area will employ two full-time gardeners on the site and they will carry out all the horticultural maintenance.
