LIMITED EDITION PRINT SIGNED BY NORMANDY VETERANS

A limited edition print of a mosaic signed by ten Normandy Veterans and created by 6th Form students at St John’s Catholic Comprehensive School in Gravesend is available to purchase. The cost of the print is £40 plus £5 p&p with proceeds to the Normandy Memorial Trust.

St John’s Art Department and its staff and students have been the recipient of several major awards in recent years. The original mosaic (a prize winner) will be presented to the Trust and will eventually be exhibited at the Memorial site at Ver-sur-Mer. The students worked under the guidance of James Steadman.

The printing is in a limited numbered edition of 100. The overall size is 14×11 inches and each comes with a sheet of biographies of the ten Veterans who have signed.  These Veterans are:

George Batts MBE (Normandy Veteran Patron of the Trust), Joe Cattini, Ernie Chambers, Roger Driscoll, Richard Forrest, Ted Hunt, Alan King, Richard Llewellyn, Vic Mackenzie and David Woodrow. Each of the Veterans will receive a print.
