Hill 112: July 3, 1944

Berjou: August 15, 1944

He was killed in action in Berjou on the 16th August 1944 and lies buried in Banneville-La-Campagne War Cemetery. XII.C.16

His headstone is inscribed with the following which was added by his family: "In a hero’s grave he sleeps far from us who love him, wife Margaret, sons Bobbie and Brian"
