Sydney Owen Reneau

Remembering Sydney Owen Reneau, Sgt, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner, son of Louis and Marguerite Reneau of Bletchley, Buckinghamshire. He was killed on his 13th mission attacking Vierzon. His aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter and fell onto the road leading from Vernou-e-Sologne (Loire-et-Cher).
His brother, Louis John Wilson Reneau, also died on service. He was serving on HMS Ganges, Royal Navy when he died of acute appendicitus in the Royal Navy Sick Quarters, Shotley, Suffolk on the 27 July 1941.
