Leonard Frank Pulling

Petty Officer Leonard Pulling was a mechanic on the Royal Navy Motor Minesweeper HMS 55 which hit a mine on 10 July 1944 with the loss of 16 crew.

Leonard grew up on Llwynon Road, Llandudno, and after attending the Great Orme school went to Dyffryn Road school. His father, William, served in the Royal Navy during the First World War. Len was 23 years old and has no known grave. He is commemorated on Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
