William Kenneth Marfleet

Staff Sergeant William Kenneth Marfleet was the First Pilot & Aircraft Commander in a Horsa glider on D-Day. Telling Staff Sergeant Marfleet’s D-Day 75 story is his nephew, military author Steve Wright. The story also mentions several servicemen who sadly died alongside William on 6 June 1944.
