James Maxfield

John Hughes Fenton served as an RAF Code and Cipher Sergeant during the Battle of Normandy. He was never able to forget the tragic accidental death of one of his comrades, Leading Aircraftman (LAC) James Maxfield. John’s son, Mike, shares the story.
