George Chaffe

Remembering George Chaffe, aged 33, Flight Sergeant, Air Gunner, son of George Rice Chaffe & Annie Ethel Chaffe of Dartmouth, Devon and husband of Audrey Mary Chaffe, of Dartmouth. He was killed on the 1st July on his 25th mission attacking Vierzon when his aircraft was shot down by a night-fighter and fell at Magny, south west of Chartres.
